- Q:What is the meaning of the name Jikiden Reiki?
- A:Jikiden Reiki (直伝霊気, 直傳靈氣、じきでんれいき) is the Reiki that Chiyoko Yamaguchi learned directly from Chujiro Hayashi, the founder of Overseas Reiki (ex Western Reiki), in 1938 in Japan and practised for over 60 years.

- Q:I heard that once you learn Reiki, you can use it for a lifetime. Is that true?
- A:Yes, it's true. Chiyoko Yamaguchi learned Reiki at the age of 17 and continued to use it until she passed away at the age of 81.

- Q:Are there teacher courses in Jikiden Reiki system?
- A:Yes, anyone who agrees and can comply with the objectives and regulations of our organization can attend.

- Q:Do I have to attend the seminar for three consecutive days?
- A:No, you can attend the first two days (Zenki/Shoden/First part) and the third day (Kouki/Okuden/Second part) separately. However, if you are a new participant, you must attend the first part before attending the second part.

- Q:Is it possible to get a discount on the tuition fee?
- A: No, it is not possible. The tuition fee for the Jikiden Reiki Seminar is the same regardless of where and from whom you receive the training.

- Q:Can I attend the seminar online?
- A:No. Teaching Reiki treatment online is not possible.

- Q:Can I also hold Jikiden Reiki seminars?
- A:You can hold seminars if you are certified as a shihan or shihankaku by the Jikiden Reiki Institute. Please attend the Shihan/Shihankaku Training Course.

- Q:Can I attend the Shihan (full teacher) Training Course to begin with?
- A:No, in Jikiden Reiki, you must progress in the specified order: Zenki/Shoden/First part → Kouki/Okuden/Second part → Shihankaku (Assistant Teacher) Training Course → Shihan (Full Teacher) Training Course. There are no exceptions.
